Hi,
I am having trouble with my scrollbar. I have put it all together _ dynamic text box, buttons with script, etc. And it all works in the sub movie. But when i the sub movie loads into the main movie the text isnt visible. I have been trying to figure it out for a week or so and have nothing. I have posted the fla. at if u would like to look at it. apperciate any help.
thanks

Unable to check it because you didn't include your main movie's .fla, but my guess is that you're manupulating this loaded movie in a tween, or using a mask, or something of that nature. Suggest you embed the font in the textfield in your "about.fla" (select the textfield, hit the Character tab in the properties, and select Embed all...), and it should work fine. It does for me loaded on a level or in a holder container clip.
Other than that, you'll have to post your main movie's .fla.

Thanks alot, oldnewbie. That worked great. Can see the text in the main movie now. Appreciate your help. Another thing to help me though _ why do i have to embed the text?? what does that do??

You haven't said though what you were actually doing to this movie? Tweening? Or masking?

In either of those situations if using dynamic text, you have to embed the font. If you had used static text, the font would of automatically been embedded... But with dynamic textfields that are being manipulated, you have to manually embed the font for it to work! That's just the way it is.
