Troubles with graphical Objects

Hi,

I'm looking for examples of InDesign Plugin dealing with graphical objects. We are totally lost.
We manage to handle graphical objects (typically One circle with one to many lines), and we want to intercept selection, moving, resize, and so on.... to do our own functions in place of InDesign.

Any tips or idea ?

Thanks jmgalvin for your reply, my idea is to create a specific Graphical object (made with basical ones), and put my own process to handle it (select, move, resize, etc...), and I 've some trouble finding some examples to do that.
