I'm having some troubles getting to some files on my winXP partition which is broken. It just keeps saying access is denied when I try going into my user's desktop folder where all the important stuff was. I try changing security properties but it won't let me change them because it says that I do not have access to them. Any suggestions?

Since you are in this forum I suppose you are on a Win2k network. Have you tried acessing the files from the domain as a Domain Admin?
