Hi,

Networking service stopped working accidentaly. Worked fine for more than a year. Tried to remove, readd the card, netcfg brokes everytime advanced setup is confirmed.

The NIC card is INTEL(R) PRO/100B.

Does anyone of you has the network driver for this card on Unix SCO.

I am searching for sth like nd.711b.pkg

Regards,

Marko

result is, screen goes black and prompt is shown >, eveything i typed is recognized like >.

Any idea?

Could you please give me tips how to mount the floppy drive on my SCO 7.1.1 in order to copy some configration files.

I am able to copy to floppy by using the cp filename.txt /dev/fd0

but no idea hot to take it back. Currently readin some manuals, no result so far.

Thanx

You should be able to mount the floppy drive using:
mount /dev/fd0 /mnt
then you can copy the files from /mnt to wherever you need them.

intuity >mount -p
/dev/root - / vxfs - no rw,suid
/dev/stand - /stand bfs - no rw
/proc - /proc proc - no rw
/dev/fd - /dev/fd fdfs - no rw
.....

There is the sth connected to fd...

It seems that i did sth

umount /dev/fd

then

mount -F fdfs /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy

by executing

ntuity >ls -l /mnt/floppy/
total 0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 0, 0 Sep 20 16:21 0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 0, 0 Sep 20 16:21 1
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 0, 0 Sep 20 16:21 2
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 0, 0 Sep 20 16:21 3
