Trouble with Transitions

I am having problems adding my transitions in Premiere 6. I try to drag them in and nothing happens. I have Premiere 5 and when I use the same clips and add tranistions it works fine. Could this be a bug with 6 or is it something I am doing wrong? Beckym

I use Premiere 6, never used 5. Are you using the A/B setup? It makes the transitions simple to do, but the clips must overlap, and the transition will automatically fit on the transition line.
