Trouble with tilde "~"

Hi!

I am writing scripts to pick up data that includes fields that are named with an embedded tilde. For example the field might be NAME~.

While this works on a direct input basis, I have not been able to find a way to include the tilde in a transmit function. ex transmit "NAME~"

The Field prints but the tilde does not. I have tried a variety of ways to get this to work but to no avail..

Any ideas??

I found the answer on the Symatic web page.

You turn it off by changing the Pause key to another character in Options... Systems Options ... System
