I've created a report, listing lawsuit names, dates and other information. And I've included a subform that lists the judges that ruled and how they ruled. The report and the subreport are linked by several fields and everything is working just great, EXCEPT when the name of the lawsuit is very long (say, over 120 characters). When this happens, the report shows the judges listed for this particular lawsuit are the judges from the previous lawsuit (the one right above it).
To test this problem, I modified the name of the lawsuit and anytime the length of the lawsuit name is under 120 characters, the report is perfect. But to add just one additional character to the lawsuit name causes the report to be wrong.
After viewing the report, I proceed ahead and click on a command button on a form and get a popup stating that it can't carry out this action at this time. It goes ahead and states that Microsoft Access is performing another activity that prevents this action from being carried out now. And it doesn't matter what macro is behind the command button - it won't let me do anything. But yet, if I shorten the name of the lawsuit, the report is fine and I do not receive the error message above.
Has anyone got any ideas - besides shortening the lawsuit names?
Thanks!
