hello , I have a power pc G5 with osx 10.4.6 and a nvidia gforce 6600 graphic card. I'm new on mac and have trouble to start after effects. The instal seems ok but when I want to start the application, nothing happens...no error message , just nothing. I have been trying every tips or help I could find on the net but... If anybody had the same problem and could solve it , thank you.

Sometimes people install the RENDER ENGINE rather than the whole application.
In these cases, you may not get any application pop-up... only the RENDER ENGINE start, which is waiting for a project to render.
Try to re-install the ENTIRE APPLICATION.
