I'm changing the Speed Dials for a customer and while I changed the first 8 with no problems now then I went to # 9 and I can add the number but the system will not let me change the Facility ,Display ,Name or Bypass Restrictions .is there somthing I'm doing wrong , the HD had just been replaced a Month ago, I changed the speeddial from 70 to 255 then started adding the Speed dials . you guys have any ideas on what might be causing this. Software Version is 8.0.1.05.329

Are you using the lastes version of Element Manager?.

Have you looked in the Alarm section to see if anything was recorded?.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Thank you FireBird I now have the 62.0.4 version , but I still can not go passed the first 8 Speed dials and there is no alarms in the BCM

check this:

Details
BCM450 R1
BCM450.R100.SU.System-017.201205
BCM450.R100.BCM-to-IPO-Migration-131

Problem Clarification
Unable to change the facility, display or name. However the speed dial number can be entered/changed
Cause
Patch BCM450.R100.BCM-to-IPO-Migration-131 [which is a constituant of BCM450.R100.SU.System-017.201205]

Solution
1. If problem not yet seen, do not apply patch BCM450.R100.SU.System-017.201205 or BCM450.R100.BCM-to-IPO-Migration-131
Instead, use BCM450.R100.SU.System-016.201110 and BCM450.R100.UTPS-130
Only use BCM450.R100.BCM-to-IPO-Migration-131 if a migration to IP Office is being performed, so the problem will not have any impact.

2. If problem is seen, then:
Peform Software reset on system
Restore previously collected backup
Apply patch BCM450.R100.SU.System-016.201110
Apply patch BCM450.R100.UTPS-130

WARNING:

The above procedure clears all system configuration and patches, a backup must be available otherwise the all configuration will have to be re-programmed manually..
