I have a Partner ACS R6 with the voicemail card. It has worked flawlessly since it was installed in 2006. Yesterday we had a power failure. Once the partner system powered back up, it gave me the message that the AAA batteries required replacement. All programming was lost. I have successfully reprogrammed the partner with the exception of the voicemail.
Incoming calls on all lines are now are immediately answered by the automated attendant. I have searched the manuals but have not been successful in stopping this. Our preference is that only one CO line is answered with voicemail after 4 rings. Extension 16 has a vms cover button programmed.
I am looking for your advice on how, once I replace the pc voicemail card, what should be my programming first step. Again we only want to have the one line only go to vm after 4 rings. We do not need the automated attendant.
Thank you so much in advance. I do have the manual, but can't understand how I ended up with the automated attendant answering on the first ring on all lines.
