Ok I am at a loss with the following situation and hope someone can help me.

The problem: When a user, I'll call X adds a signature to an email, it deletes the entire body of the email and sends only the signature.

I have completely uninstalled GroupWise and still the problem remains.

The problem doesn't manifest itself if she logs onto GroupWise from someone else's machine.

Changing the sig file has no effect.

Any ideas?

moyes,

Please see Novell TID #10082950 ( This is a problem which has been reported to development.

In the mean time, when composing a new email, try changing the view to HTML (View | HTML). If this works, change it permanently using Tools | Options | Environment | Views | Default Compose View.

Good luck,
-Ron

Hi,

have you tried using the GroupWise Cleaning Agent to remove groupwise from the affected machine? if not, you can download it at:

it works a lot better than a regular windows install, scrubs the registry and everything.

hope that helps,
Josh

Thanks for the information, folks. I did the change compose to html and it works. BTW, we had previously completely wiped GWise from the offending machine and reinstalled it to no avail.
