I manage several BCM's on a Private WAN with software ranging from 2.5 to 3.6. Recently I have been experiencing a problem using the CallPilot Manager.I had n problems with this in the past. I also tried from several PC's in the office and everyone has the same problem. I can access the BCM through our network fine, and I can program the BCM fine. But when I try to log into the CallPilot I get Session Timeout immediately after entering the password. occasionally if I do get by the password, I can only do something for a few minutes before it times out again. Has anyone ever experienced this problem? How did yuou resolve it? Thankful for any help anyone can offer.

Never seen this happen before. Hve you tried a reboot
of the BCM (through the programming)?

I have a resolution to my problem. I want to thank everyone for your input and ideas. The problem was a new proxy server that had been added to our network. It is doing load balancing with the existing server, and the fact that we enter a port of 6800 after the IP Address. The system thinks it is a HTTP type of requst so the proxy tries to route it and can't. I fixed this by bypassing the proxy server in my Internet Explorer I go to connections and LAN Settings I uncheck the box for automatic proxy setting. And now it works.

Is it just me or does it seem that the more these telephone systems integrate with IT networks, the more problems we are
seeing.

It is coming to the point that it is not simply a matter of
understanding telephone systems and CO lines, but we're now
expected to know computer networking too. (does that me our paychecks will double with having to know two careers?).

I'm glad you found the resolution.
