In Cognos Scheduler (Cognos EP Series 7), I am having trouble passing command line arguments to a macro that will run after a report is run.
On the task edit dialog box --> Results tab, I have entered the macro as: D:\Program Files\CognosReporting\Scripts\Tests\EMAILREPORTTEST.MAC Test. With "Test" being the command line argument. This returns an error that states: "The command script filename could not be found or is invalid".
If I remove the "Test" argument it works. If I copy the macro path and file name with the command line argument to Start --> Run, it works fine. This tells me that the macro is working with the command line argument.
Has anyone sent command line arguments to a script when scheduling a report through Sceduler? Why will it not work with Cognos Scheduler?
Thank you,
Pat B
