Have just started with FrontPage 2002. I can upload a single page to the host server, and it displays fine. I have now added further pages but I cannot get the links (buttons) to work. (They all work fine within FP before I upload it). The hosting company makes some mention of FrontPage extensions, which of course cost extra, although they don't specifically say these are needed for links to additional pages. Do I need these "extensions" for the link buttons to work, or am I missing something somewhere?

Hi Algraff, yes they do seem to show links to sub-dirs, despite my best efforts to remove the unwanted directory links.

If I drag the appropriate .htm file onto my index.htm page, all is fine, and it works. But I want a button rather than just plain old text on the screen.

I'm using the "rectangle" on the draw menu to create the shape of "button" I want on my index.htm page, then giving it some appropriate colour etc. I then right-click on the newly created box (button), select "Hyperlink" from the menu and double-click the appropriate .htm file. If I revisit this link it has put in the whole sub-dir structure again. If I view the page in HTML I can remove the unwanted sub-dir structure, but saving the file immediately restores the whole wretched structure again.

I just cannot see a way round this one...

Well I've at last got the custom built buttons to work, although it wasn't very obvious what to do - alright if you've done it before but not easy for a first time user!
Thanks again Algraff.
