Having trouble getting forms to produce a result. Error message says
FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.

Webmaster: please see the server's application event log for more details.

I get this no matter what way I configure the form properties. I know my server guy has the most current extensions installed. He's out of town. Need help now!!
Thanks.

MIKE

If you're using asp pages, is the folder containing the pages set to allow scripts and programs to run?
Also, is the database in the right place?
If you give me the web address, I may be able to give you some more ideas.

I could not get the link you supplied to open. I did visit your home page, and opened the source for the forms there.
Most of the options are blank.. The name is there, but no link. I assume you're still under construction on the indexpage as well.
You might try creating the link from your home page, to the page you sent on the bulletin board, and see if it works from there.
Sorry I could not do anything more that wild guesses.

I've read that asp only works on servers that use some sort of microsoft system. Meaning that active server pages might not work on a unix box (which a huge amont of web servers are).
If you are using asp, find out what type of server you are using, and if it is unix/linux, i think you can still use the asp but you have to do something special to make it work, but i'm not crystal clear as to what that would be

Which brings up the thought of whether you've checked with your ISP to make sure they support Front Page Extensions.
