Check spam filters it may be considering it as spam or junnk

if sending through a local Microsoft Exchange server, it is normal for it to only accept email, via SMTP, for local users, and not remote ones (or it could be an open relay, and liable to being abused to send spam).

You might need to tell it to 'trust' the Mitel's IP address.

Something like this (Exchange 2003)

Exchange System Manager
Administrative Groups
First administrative group
Servers
your server name
Protocols
SMTP
right click default SMTP Virtual Server

Access tab
Relay button, under:
Relay restrictions

look to add Mitel's IP address there

to show 'Administrative Groups'
Configure System Manager to Display Routing and Administrative Groups.

1. Start the System Manager from the Microsoft Exchange program group.
2. Right click the top-level node and on the shortcut menu, click Properties.
3. In the Properties dialog box, select the Display Routing Groups and Display Administrative Groups check boxes, and then click OK.
4. In the message box that informs you that you need to restart the System Manager, click OK, and then restart System Manager.
5. There should be a container called Administrative Groups in the console tree. Expand the nodes.
6. Click the Members container within the First Routing Group object. Your server is the Master server in the First Routing Group.

Thanks. Does any one know how to solv the above in a Exchange 2007?

Hi I have tried the above and there is nog differce, cant send outside my domain. Is there a maint command that I can use to se what error I should have?

There should be a Postsoftware log indicating the error.
eg.

Received SMTP error: 501 Bad address syntax
