I am having trouble accessing some links. I have IE8 and Windows XP. Sometimes, when I click on a link in an email, I get a blank IE window with the message "Connecting...", but nothing else happens. When I close the IE window, I see a WE window that is looking in the "My Documents" folder, and the bar at the top of the window says "Locate Link Browser". My suspision is that there is a missing file somewhere, or it is looking in the wrong place for something. I re-installed IE8, but that did not fix the problem. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it?

I've recently started to get this.

Found this link:

Then realised it's started to happen only since I installed cooliris.

Going to remove and see if it helps.

Looks like a known issue with cooliris
