trouble uploading MOH audio file 1

I have a Mitel 3300, rel 7.0

I am trying to upload an MOH audio file:
I am in the System Audio Files Update page, and I select Music and Alternate Audio Source
I pick Audio Source ID 1 and enter an audio file label: 'on_hold_message'
I browse to my audio file and select it from the file system and then click on update.
I see a window which reads 'audio file upload process may take a while' and I click on OK
The main pane of the 3300 console goes all white, and there is a message 'File Upload: Success.please wait for audio upload to complete'
It continues to display this for over an hour until I give up and close the browser. When I log in again, the music source has not been uploaded.

Am I doing anything wrong?
I am using a Win7 computer with Firefox 61.0.1
The audio file is a 1.4 mb wav file. How long should it take to upload?

most likely a browser issue or java
might have to try an older version of IE 9 8 or 9 or an earlier firefox (39)

the upload is probably trying to use java and firefox have removed that in later versions

I down-graded my firefox to v39 and turned off pop-up blockers. The file uploaded in a few seconds and now I am on my way to creating tenant groups with different on hold music!

Thanks KWb , I use multiple vmware workstation installs to have different environments that suit different vpn clients or Browser requirements , but portable FF will help on my native system when accessing VCloud instances which still require java, save me from botting a VM to get logged in.

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
