trouble transfering to vm using call coverage with 9630's

I have a secretary who recieves her bosses calls after two rings but when she answers she can't transfer the call to the bosses vm. I have set up a feature code of 436 for transfer to voicemail for this to happen but when she hits transfer and 436 she recieves a wave off tone. Any suggestions?
 
Try sending the call to an x ported station that has the bosses extension in the name field... with coverage path etc...

Wildcard thanks for the suggestion but could you please be more specific?
 
Create a new extension (any) and place an X in the port field. In the name field enter the extension # of the bosses extension. Normal coverage path to vmail etc...

Have her try transfering to the extension.

Is she answering his calls on a bridged apperance (with delayed ringing?)

Have you checked the secretary's phone for proper amount of call-appearances? To transer a call requires an additional open call-appearance button as well. Just a thought.
