Hi,

I am running into issues signing into my samba server from both a Mac and a Windows machine. The logs for each machine (on the server) show the same error message:
passdb/pdb_smbpasswd.c:startsmbfilepwent(279)
startsmbfilepwent_internal: failed to set 0600 permissions on password file /etc/samba/smbpasswd. Error was Permission denied

I saw some post on the web that this may be related to SELinux. I would appreciate any help on this topic.
Thanks very much,
akb
