Is there anywhere I could find some trouble shooting help for the installation of Java 2 SDK version 1.4.? I went to and followed the instructions to setting the path but I still get invalid command when I try to compile something. I do get the version when I do java -version. AJ
I would lose my head if it wasn't attached. [roll1]

Have you set your environment variable PATH correctly ?
This needs to be set to the bin directory where the java.exe and javac.exe are held - so in the autoexec.bat file (JAVA_HOME is the path where your jdk resides, eg C:\jdk1.4) :

PATH=JAVA_HOME\bin;%PATH%

If this is how yours is set up, have you run the autoexec.bat file, so the effects take place ?
