trouble sending email to groups-no transport provider

I have 2 customers who are trying to send email to groups. Here is an example of the error:
"The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
Adam Seevers (E-mail) on 4/8/2003 8:36 AM No transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient."

Can send to individuals. One is using Outlook; not sure on the other. All settings are correct. My server administrator has checked everything and there is nothing wrong on server. I don't know what to try.

Any help appreciated.
