trouble saving web to network share

Hi,

We have recently loaded frontpage 2000 on our win98 workstations. We select "new web" and point it to our network share:- \\pdc\user\my webs

The trouble is that we keep getting errors at this point and if we try to save our web pages.

The odd thing is that if we choose "new web" and save it to the local C drive all is ok.

I have checked all permissions on folders etc...

I have even tried copying the "my webs" folder from C drive to the network share but to no avail.

any help will be much appreciated.

Is the network share actually a frontpage web, or just a bunch of html files?

If the latter then you will need to make it into a web. Jonathan Challis
