trouble printing text fields

Help! When I try to print from certain layouts in certain FMP programs certain text boxes do not print-- it prints a blank where the text should be. Our programs are shared and out of the five computers that use these, only two have the problem and the others print everything that is previewed and selected to print. Can any one assist me? It's rather important! Unfortunately our IT dept does not support FMP (small college, long story).
