trouble opening .pad file that links to the server

Hi,

I have installed Act!2008 on the server and put the .pad files on each of the network computers. All of them can open that files and log in as user and do what they want. Except for my own computer. It says that the database could not be accessed and they want me to check the network connection and make sure that the database is available. I checked both and even uninstalled my mc affee firewall. Still no connection. Could somebody help me out? Thanks!
