Trouble mapping to workstation

XP 1.0 Workstation has 10/100 Ethernet card.
Win2000 Server w/SP4 has 10/100 Ethernet card.
Both are linked to Linksys router.
Checked all IPs, WINS/DNS, HOST/LMHOST, Adapter software and settings and router setup. All appears good.
Both running in workgroup.
Workstation can ping server, but server can't ping workstation.

Check if the XP firewall is activated, and if it is that it will allow ICMP packets.
