Hello... I made an application in VB5 using CR4.6
I put the application in a LAN that is served by Windows NT Server 4.0 together with the DLL's and OCX's required, all in a shared directory. In my computer where I develloped the application when I try to email the report through the preview¦mail button there is no problem but, if I do the same in another computer from the LAN, this button doesn't function and (...worse) it doesn't report any error. At first i thought it was a missing DLL (uxdmapi.dll) but i put the file in the shared directory and the problem continued. I just can't imagine what the problem is. Can you help me?

By the way, the LAN is TCP/IP and it's using MS Outlook with MS Exchange Server.

Mailing involves both exporting the report in a defined format, and sending the exported report to a mail destination. Have you got the appropriate dll for the export of the report (ie Excell, etc) on the client machine?
Malcolm Wynden
wynden@island.dot.net
