I have a win xp pro machine that I just reformated with the original win xp disk. During the setup, it asked for a user name and would not let me go past this step unless I entered one name. I did. Then, I'm at the logon screen and it says to enter the password for the person I entered. I never created a password for this user because I just reformatted the machine. I hit enter, doesn't work. I typed her name, doesn't work. I can't bypass this for nothing. How can I get to Windows so i can go to the control panel and add this machine to the domain?

First off try the password you use for main administrator account. If that dont work restart in safe mode log onto the default administrator account and you can change the password from users there.
