I have gone to both SUse and Redhat Fedora for downloads and I believe that I am doing the right process, but would like to confirm that what I am doing is correct.
First, Fedora, I went and downloaded three discs:
Yarrow-i386-disc1.iso
Yarrow-i386-disc2.iso
Yarrow-i386-disc3.iso
Are these the only files that I need to get started or are there others?
So Now I have three large files sitting on my folder. I use an Easy CD Creator and go through the process of:
Find the file and add it to the Project
Then File --> Create CD Hard Disk Image
This brings up a dialog box to save the file and the type default is CIF, so I change to save type as ISO and once that is created I then find the newly created file and burn it as an image on to my CD. This I then take and pop into a CD drive after setting CMOS/BIOS to boot from the that drive, I reboot and my pre existing Windows begins to boot. I never get to a boot screen for Linux. Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
