Trouble installing 3DS4 on Win XP - licence error?

I have the correct keygen and code cracker for the registration of the program and have managed to install on my other computer which is 98 - but xp seems to have a problem. Apparently it is not compatible with xp, and gave me various errors. Has anyone had problems installing 3ds on xp before?

no...but I would be careful with an warez copy of Max especially on a xp machine and max has a really good licence manager.
