I am fairly new to Business Objects. I have a database which has all of the data I need. We have a field which indicates Buiness Unit. What I am needing in my results is any thing at units, a, b, c, and d with a status if lets say "Done"

My results will display the unit name of a, b, c, or d along with that status at those units. Now, in the same line, I need 2 dates from Unit E.

I would have:

Unit Name from a,b,c, or d Status from a,b,c, or d Date1 from unit e Date2 from unit e

How can I accomplish this. I hope I explained this well enough.

hi,

So Unit E is related ONLY to Units A, B, C, or D, but to not other Units?

Does Unit E have only ONE value for Date1 and ONE value for Date2?

Otherwise, how would you know which Date1 or Date2 VALUE to associate with any specific Unit A, B, C od D having a Status of "Done"?

Units A B C D are pre processign centers that do the setup for Unit E. These are people being set up and verified at the 4 units for different regions for unit E.

These people have the same Identifier in Unit E and there pre processing unit A,B,C or D. This is how they get linked.

Unit E is a pool of all people. These people are broken out to a b c or d depending on there location for preprocssing.

Date 1 would be the start date and date 2 would be the status date.

I am probably making this more confusing than it needs to be.
