Trouble displaying MonthName groups with no data

Hi Everybody,

Any help or ideas would be appreciated - I am writing a report with about 10 fields that show monthly summaries. Occassionally, there is no data for a particular month.

My trouble is that the boss wants to see the month groupings for the last twelve months - regardless whether their is data or not. Crystal just displays the groups (months) with data. How can I force Crystal into showing blank categories for a month with no data??

Are the months in a linked table? If so, use an outer join. If not, create a monthly table, join it to your main table with an outer join, and use that table for your groups.

Another solution is to create twelve running totals, one for each month. Put them in the report footer, noting where the total is zero.
