I have various customers on Option-81, some have to dial 1010numbers for LD.
Used to work great when we had Century Link PRIs Now we have COX. The Option-81 is a hub for several Option-11s.
There are PRI TIE lines between the 11s and the 81. All outbound PRIs are at the 81 site. Site X Option-11 has a DMI table that inserts the access code for the route at the 81 site. LD Calls route fine. Customer at site X used to go out a dedicated Verizon PRI and now they changed to AT&T. Need to insert the 1010288 after the ACOD (3119 new COX route). Changed DMI to 3119*1010288 getting busy. COX says they are seeing to many digits. Swear they have 1010 dialing enabled. Says my PBX is telling them the call is National. They want to see unknown. Tested without the 1010288 inserted and I changed CTYP on the DMI table to UKWN. They say they are still seeing National on part of the call.
What am I missing? Here is the e-mail from COX on the trapped calls. Please help. Thank you!
This is the first call. Both Called and Calling Numbers are National. National Called numbers says to expect 10 digits or 1+10 digits. The Called Type of Number or Called NPI should be changed to UNKNOWN.
