Everytime I try to burn a copy of a CD, the CD copy is always skipping. I would really appreciate some help.

Whaat do u mean by skipping? If it's commerical software/movies/etc, there maybe copy protection embeded into the cd. IF not, try cleaning the cd burner. Are you trying to copy cd to cd? If so, try copying the contents of the cd to your hd, then burn from the hd.

Download EAC to extract the tracks and then download LAME to encode them. EAC actually has built in error correction so that as long as the original disc is not too badly scratched it can possible repair the ripped track (file). If the disc is too badly damaged EAC will not extract the track at all.

P.S.

Both EAC and LAME are designed to work together and cost nothing to download. I have used them many many times over and get perfect results every time.

Try reducing the burn speed. I have a 24x drive and often when I try to burn a CD rated for 24x in it, it doesn't play right.

Aside from that, you might try CloneCD.
