I don't know if this is the proper place to ask this, so bear with me.

I have a report created in Crystal XI that I want to send to my users. We won't be providing everyone with full crystal so we're looking for a solution that will allow the other users to view the report and refresh the data. The Crystal Report Viewer XI doesn't refresh.

We're trying out Crystal Corral right now. It looks as though this will work for us, except I can't get the report to connect to the server. It tells me that connection failed when I put in my id and password (which I know are right).

I read somewhere about someone having the same problem and he fixed it with some change to his ODBC settings. But, I don't know what he did.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your help. But, I think all that's saying is that you need Crystal Reports .NET 2008 in order to install and run Corral. It's not referring to the software which which the report was originally created.

And, for the record, we did install Crystal Reports .NET 2008 on this particular pc before installing Corral. The pc in question does not have Crystal XI installed at all. Though it does have the XI viewer installed because that's what we were originally going to use.
