Trouble connecting 2 computers across 2 Novell Servers

I've got two specific computers on a LAN powered entirely by novell. one runs on the following setup,

Tree: LU
Context: Pers.PKR.LU
Server: Personnel

The other runs on this setup;

Tree: LUL
Context: Empl.LUL
Server: LULDATA

I would need to get these two computers to communicate via shared network resources, but I haven't been able to manage getting the two to communicate through windows applications. Remote desktop and PCAnywhere were the only 2 successful programs. Is there a specific setup procedure I'd be missing? If so, could someone point it out?

they're running windows XP Pro by the way.
