Today I installed IMS Client on a PC from a VMPRO 3.2.30 server, the software appeared to install but after the PC rebooted I opened Outlook and under tools there was not a tab under options for Integrated Messaging, uninstalled the IMS client and got a error 1905 umserverPs.dll failed to unregister, went ahead and installed IMS client again, still no tab for IMS under Outlook tools/options but I am able to recieve and play messages. Anyone seen this before or any ideas on what could be causing the missing IMS tab.

In Outlook 2003, check under Help -> About... there is a button for Disabled Items... The IMS Client could be disabled.

Also, did you follow all of the steps to make sure the DCOM settings are correct?

Go here, follow the doc on here to the letter (assuming your platform versions are relevant to the doc)

Yes i had the same issue. In outlook
1. go to "help"
2. Then "About Microsoft Office Outlook"
3. "Disabled Items" and in here you need to enable ims client

Thanks MrLuis and Tazmgr I'll try that tomorrow, I might add that I have been working with the customers IT vendor and we uninstalled the application, deleted the directories and ran a registry clean up program because the PC previously had another release of IMS client installed. This trouble started after we upgraded the VMPRO from 3.1.21 to 3.2.30, called my support group and they want to wipe out the Client PC and reload OS etc. Hope your suggestion works as it will save me some pain!
