HI fellas,

Have a site, BC12 SP5.

Two sites, one is maintained other is not, both MD bc12.

problem is when you ring internally from site A, to an extension to Site B, if the extension in site B has a divert to an extension back in Site A, such as voicemail or other extension, you get RTNR.

If you an extension on site B rings another extension in site B, and that has a divert to site A, that works !

so failure is from A => B => A

hi guy's

ok cheers for help, it seems that I need a tromboning patch.
the site is BC12 sp5, so the patch in the link will not work as it is for BC9.

btw the tromboing works one way and not the other,

any ideas ?

cheers

pawshman,

As it was already noted in the above-mentioned link,
for BC12 you DON'T NEED ANY TROMBONEENG patch!!!!

Just use ASPAC 118 - "Loop back avoidance check selection"

Regards

hi Avstral,

sorry, I'm sure I didnt read that in the link
poss missed it. This is what I heard there is no patch,.

gosh didnt see that aspac in there either !

I'll re-read the link

either way will try the aspac !

cheers

Avstral

105.3 EXAMPLE
In case of transit exchange, Loop-back avoidance check is not allowed i.e. transit on the same route is allowed.

PARNUM=118,PARVAL=0"

it was set to "0" so changed it to 1 user to test !

BTW Avstral,

looked through that link again and the only referance to that aspac was from aau2

"And in bc.11 what can I do ? The unit RMPS5 don't exist. The Aspap 118 works ????"

so thats why it was not clear until you gave me your recent reply

cheers

the aspac was not set, but after setting it it still did not work.

there "may be " a problem that the DPNSS pipe between the 2 sites.

one side has all 30 channels configured
the other side has only 15 set-up ?

could this cause a problem.

remember form days of old. that DPNSS/DASS channels need to be set up to the same ammount of channels

cheers
