TRK Errors and behaviour

I have an 11c and have noticed the following TRK errors etc. I am not sure how significant they are or whether they are all related so any help or advice would be appreciated.
1. TRK 150 on trunk TN 8 0. The manual says PTRS/CO Short Hold.
2. TRK 151 on trunk TN 8 6. The manual says PTRS/CO Sezure Failure.
3. TRK 154 on trunks TN 8 2 and 8 6. The manual says Tip and Ring reversal or other trunk wiring problem threshold. On a LD 36 I get RVSD for those trunks.
4. Finally when a person dials 9 to get an outside line, the hum on the line is quite pronounced and it takes from 3 to 7 or more seconds before an outside line dial tone is heard. Is this normal?

As mentioned, if anyone can provide information or point me to what programming I should look at for any of these I would be quite grateful. Thanks.

YOU NEED TO CHECK 8-2 AND 8-6 AT THE DEMARK EITHER LOOP START OR YOUR LEC HAS THE TIP AND RING REVERSED. THE SHORT HOLD IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT

Would this account for the long delay before getting an outsude trunk line?

If the switch is trying these trunks each time in order and finding them to be unusable, then yes - You would hear a delay. Verify that the trunks are working at the demarc and then try to use the maintenance set to sieze them. Most likely the PBX is trying the trunks with problems before getting to good ones.

Thanks. I tried the maintenance set and the two trunks are not operational. Back to the telephone company. Thanks a lot for your advice and assistance. This forum is without a doubt the best, most helpful, and friendliest bunch of people I have ever encountered.
