Trixbox via SIP trunk

Hi all,

I am using Trixbox and configured few extensions. Kindly advice me to configure SIP trunks.

There is a lot of info in the archived Trixbox forum's on how to do that. You can also look to the FreePBX site for pointers.

It's really not difficult...

As atcom mentioned it is not hard. I recommned you go to the TRUNKS in PBX confing and add a SIP trunk. In the first box you need to provide a NAME of the outbound trunk and below that is the hostname and secret (password). Some of the settings depend on the carrier so only put in the minimum that you need to work. this is a pretty decent writeup:

Most of the carriers will provide sample configurations.

Busster, You are probably right. In my experience it is hit or miss. In 2 of 3 carriers I have setup 1 provided samples.
