I was wondering if anyone has connected a Trix-Box to an Avaya IP Office 500 V4.2 via Sip Trunks. If anyone could point me to a guide or some info it would be greatly appreciated. I see lots of info about the connection via H323 gateway but nothing about Sip Trunks.

Thanks,

Marshall

I not sure of this but I believe you need the Professional edition or pay for a license to use this optional feature along with a $3500 VCP card.

Is SIP Trunking an optional feature in Trix-Box?

Thank You

sip trunking in TB by default. Nothing to purchase.

IPOffice 500 supports SIP with a Lic as long as you have a VCM card installed there is also a trial licence for it.

[cheers]

not sure if you have gotten this to work with SIP ( old thread)
but I have done it with H323 to AsteriskNow to IPOffice 406
( now that I say that It is nothing like what you want :)

actually though both are based in Asterisk and the IPO config is Identical ...

did not know if you wanted SIP for a reason?

Dave
