I have a site already published on Tripod. When I try to update it I get an error message saying that FP can not parse. I have FP extensions enabled. I have unlocked my Tripod account. I have typed the URL in to be sure it is correct. I have closed FP and tried to republish on opening again. I have restarted my computer. When I type the URL into FP I know it is correct but I still get the error message. When I later try again instead of the new URL that I just typed in FP wants to go to the old Tripod address and I can't make it accept the new one as default. I don't know if this is part of the problem or not but I am at my wits end. Thanks in advance.

It sounds more like a Tripod problem. Possibly it could be due to heavy Internet traffic. I sometimes got the parse error while publishing my site to my commercial hosting provider. In my case, it was during peak times and happened only at the end of the publishing, when it was finishing. You might try working on the site at a non-peak time and see if that makes a difference. Otherwise, check with Tripod and see if they've got any FAQ on it.
