Trim canvas to fit image

I have imported two screen shots into Fireworks and have placed them offset on each other. Now I want to trim the canvas so that the image can be exported to Corel Draw. How the trim canvas option merely trims the canvas to a square shape that is the largest area covered by the two images. I want to trim the canvas to fit exactly the outline shape of the two images. (Am I explaining this OK). You see I want to be able to wrap paragraph text to follow the outline of the images.
