Trillium on AIX

I suddenly find that I need to understand where Trillium (the address-verification software) gets its hostname info. I have a server where, when I attempt to start the director, it complains that it is already running on another server. It certainly is, but I need it to check localhost rather than the other IP.

As usual, I don't expect an answer but any help welcome. =)
