triggering an application on windows

i need to trigger an application on windows...from my unix box...how can we do it???

I believe you will need something like Windows NT services for UNIX to do this.

If you look on the web for Silviu Marghescu and RSH you will find a freeware providing a very good RSHD service for WIN-NT, it works fine and it's more unix-like than the Microsoft product.
