i do not have sql bol this weekend, but can someone provide idea on how to do a trigger to show that a field/column changes within a record....lets say in example. Obviously my getdate() only works for new entries, but would like to know when any of my column changes in table..see below

the record has only 4 columns/fields...lets say col1, col2, col3, col4....if anyone one of these change in col1-3, I would like the userdatetime stamp to change in col4..(ie, field1, 2, 3, 4)...does the trigger expression go in the front end application, like access, with dbo link...thanks
