trigger not activated

Hi,

I need help doing some trouble shooting:

I have a trigger that does this:

...
BEFORE INSERT ON <some table>
REFERENCING NEW AS NEW
FOR EACH ROW
...

My question is, are there any possible situations where something might be inserted into that table without the trigger being activated?

Yes, it may occur if the trigger is DISABLEd.
