i have desire to use the Linux OS, but how can i start it?

is there a free complete manuals?

any Linux is free?

Yes, Linux is free. You can download most of the popular distrobutions from and You can also download the distro's from the distrobutions website, such as and for example. I prefer using Red Hat, but that is my personal opinion.

There are plenty of manuals and how to's that you can download for free. Here's a link to the Red Hat 7.3 manuals --> If you want to find how to's on particular subject, you can check out the Linux Documentation Project at or you can do a Google search (which will probably point you to tldp.org anyway). There are tons of Linux docs and how-to's out there. All you need is Google.com to find them.
