I just bought several games that will not run on my systems because they cannot find a "Direct3d device" on my system.

What this means is that I don't have the correct graohics card on my system or the incorrect DirectX version on my system.

I know I can download DirectX from Microsoft for free, but I am not going to go out and spend another $100 to $300 on a graphics card just to play an $35 game.

Does anyone know of a way to trick these games into thinking a have a Direct3D card on my system so thay they will run.

Do anyone know how to patch the code into the games.

Prepare to be assimilated. Resistance is futile
