Hi,

What's the best way of drawing a triangle in Illustrator 10.0?

There doesn't seem to be a specific drawing for this.

Many thanks
Sam

Polygon tool (in the flyout under the rectangle tool), drag and while holding down the mouse, hit the down arrow until you're down to a triangle. Drop, and voila!

May not be the best but use the star tool with 3 as the points option.

1. Draw a horizontal line;

2. Object>Path>Add Anchor Points;

3. Direct-Select the new anchor, drag it up a ways until you have an "A-frame";

4. In the Pathfinder palette, Alt-Click "Add to Shape Area".
